Are Tube Amps Worth the effort?

Cubic amps are better. They don't roll off the stage as easily.

The other comment got me rolling on the floor. But in all seriousness, I find the acoustic advantage of a tube amp to be not very significant over solid state amps. In certain use like busking, I may say that a solid state amp would perform better and last longer than a tube amp.
